Once upon a time, a good, decent, hard-working high school student named Chelsea had enough money in the bank to buy a modest laptop.
That time was three months ago, before she lost her job and became acquainted with the graduation bills/class dues/gas/everything else that FLIPPING SUCK THE LIFEBLOOD OUT OF A CHECKING ACCOUNT LIKE SOME KIND OF BAD VAMPIRE EROTICA.
Now, $2000 poorer and virtually broke (but still paying for gas), she is reduced to begging her parents. She hasn't yet managed to convince them, but there is a silver lining in this dark, dark cloud - she turns eighteen in four days. She hopes very much that some kind soul will donate to her cause.
She isn't holding her breath.
